Nothe Fort marquee wedding

This weekend might of been the royal wedding but it didn't stop others from tying the knot and we the wedding marquee up for the celebration. The venue was Nothe Fort in Weymouth, a gun fort used in the war to protect the harbour, built on three levels with a labyrinth of underground tunnels as well as open areas that provide a view across miles of the Juarssic Coast. The ideal wedding location.

The marquee looked great, a 9m x 27m with an additional 6m x 6m for the service tent. Ivory linings gave it the wow factor although the optional coloured valance was omitted at the couples request. A 6m x 5m hard wooden dance floor with brass surround provide the allocated boogy area which was pieced together on top of charcoal matting flooring. 6ft round tables and trestle tables were also hired with linen to go with them.

Lighting consisted of 2 crystal chandeliers setup on a dimmer, coloured led uplighters set to fade through a wide colour spectrum and strip lighting to help
